Volunteer Update

Rocklin Academy Family of Schools continues to follow CDPH Guidance. All adults on a school campus must either provide proof of vaccination or adhere to weekly testing as well as complete a symptom check upon arrival to campus.   Previously, due to the high volume of cases we were managing, our staff did not have the capacity to manage weekly testing for volunteers. However, given current conditions our staff is able to track and offer weekly testing to those individuals who have not provided proof of vaccination status and wish to participate in on site visits or volunteering.

To be eligible to volunteer, RAFOS will need to receive a negative test result by Friday at 9:00 a.m. the Friday prior to the week you wish to volunteer.  For example, if you test the week of March 28 and submit results by 9:00 a.m. on April 1, you are eligible to volunteer the week of April 4.

Management of this process will be conducted through the RAFOS Health Department with weekly testing opportunities at the Charter Management Office (CMO) Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and Thursday afternoons at 1:00 p.m.  Registration can be completed at VOLUNTEER TESTING CLEARANCE.

Weekly testing requirements may also be met by testing outside of our organization.  Please share results of a rapid test by Friday at 9:00 a.m. the Friday prior to the week you wish to volunteer by uploading your results here.

If you would like to provide proof of vaccination status, please submit your digital vaccination record by clicking on the school link below.  Please note, you will need to provide vaccination records to each school you plan to volunteer.  As with Live-Scan, TB clearance and Volunteer Agreement, school sites will track vaccination records and negative COVID test results.

If you wish to volunteer at the Rocklin Academy Family of Schools (RAFOS), TB clearance and Live Scan are required.  These schools include Rocklin Academy, Rocklin Academy Gateway, American River Collegiate Academy, and Western Sierra Collegiate Academy.

If you have been live scanned through Rocklin Academy at the elementary level, you DO NOT need to repeat your Live Scan when your student enters Western Sierra.

If you have been live scanned by another organization, you still need to be live scanned through Rocklin Academy.  The Department of Justice (DOJ) does not share Live Scan results done by other organizations with Rocklin Academy Family of Schools.

If you plan to transport students on any off-campus learning experiences, please view our policies to the right and return the agreement on the last page of the policy to the school office.
Don’t forget to take the LiveScan form with you, and save the receipt.
