Our goal is to provide information related to COVID-19 and to help keep our students and staff as healthy and safe as possible during these challenging times. Our processes are based on recommendations from the public health department.

COVID-19 past 90 Days
The 2021 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave legislation expired on September 30, 2021.  Due to the intense surge of COVID-19 cases upon return from winter break in January 2022, our Board of Directors approved our own internal RAFOS Supplemental COVID Pay during this time to support our staff.  It will be in effect immediately from January 4th - February 14th.  At the February 14th Board meeting, the RAFOS Supplemental COVID Pay will be revisited.   


  • Eligible are only RAFOS staff who are in isolation due to a positive COVID-19 verified test. 
  • RAFOS will provide up to 80 hours (prorated FTE) of paid sick leave during an employee’s isolation only.
  • COVID-19 pay is provided for an individual employee only who has tested positive for COVID-19, not to care for a family member who is affected by COVID-19. 
  • Employees in quarantine due to possible exposure are not eligible for RAFOS Supplemental COVID Pay. 


As you may be aware, updated CDPH guidance is now in effect.  We are revising processes and procedures to align with these changes and will share our new COVID Decision Tree documents soon.
